Private, Concerted and Public Schools

In terms of the number of public schools, Spain is in last place in Europe. The European average is 81%, in Spain it is only 68%. This lack is amended by the so-called concerted schools. These are schools with a private carrier, but mostly subsidized by the state. In them there are certain freedoms, such as Number of students per class, dates, administration, etc. These schools are also funded by contributions from parents. Approximately 60% of the concerted schools are run by the Catholic Church.

Immersion

In the context of language immersion, a child during school hours is taught in, and speaks only one language, e.g. in Catalonia is Catalan..

In the practice of the separatists this means that Spanish is not taught or taught very little, disabling the kids to later participate in matters of the Spanish state.
