Intervene! Your right and your duty as a migrant from the EU!

Article 26 (3) Universal Declaration of Human Rights says:

„Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.“

This right is denied to parents with children in schools in the regions of Spain affected by pancatalanism.

If you are a citizen of the EU, have registered properly in Spain and pay taxes as a pensioner, employee or autónomo, then you have the active and passive right to vote in your place of residence, i.e.: You can vote for your local town hall or, for example, be elected as a member of the council or as a mayor. Just like any Spaniard who registers in Paris, Berlin or Warsaw and pays taxes accordingly, there enjoys equal suffrage.

You have to reckon with fanatical separatists calling you fascists and shouting at you: "Go back to where you came from!"

Don't let this impress you!
You're not a guest here! You're at home HERE!

Spaniards have no more or less rights in this matter than you do. That applies in all EU countries. So also in Spain! Moreover, the majority, including the autonomous regions, is against independence and for the right of parents to decide on the language in which their children are taught.

Just as a migrant has to integrate in Great Britain, the Netherlands or France and not in "Small-Backwood-Village", so you should integrate in Spain and not in possible quirks of your village. Speaking a local language is not a quirk, of course. If you want to learn it, I am sure, you will be welcome.

Speaking and using Catalan or Valenciano is a right, but not the obligation!
